The topics of the microbiome, gut health, and their impact on the immune system, mood, and behavior are increasingly present in scientific, medical, and public discussions. But how can we navigate the often contradictory information?
This was the focus of a public debate held on Tuesday, 19 November 2025 at 17:00, where leading experts shared their insights.
The program covered:
- What is the microbiome and why is it such a hot topic?
- How the microbiome regulates our health and immune system, and its role in chronic inflammation
- Current medical approaches: Are there reliable tests for personal microbiome analysis? Can new methods help with specific health conditions?
- Practical recommendations for nurturing a healthy microbiome
- The role of microbiomes in other parts of the body
